Get involved with AYSC today as a...

Student

AYSC is always on recruitment and reaching out to more volunteers within the community, and to promote the importance of community service activities. We welcome students who are from the age of 12 to 21 or from 8th grade to 12th grade. If you qualify and are interested in volunteering with us, join us by coming to our monthly general meeting, which is always the second Tuesday of the month at Lincoln Recreation Center from 4:30-6 pm, or stop by at any of our service events.

In order to become a general member of AYSC, you must attend at least 3 consecutive general meetings and attend 1 large event, such as Street Bazaar, Street Festival, Wa Sung Pancake Breakfast, and etc. or come to 3 of our smaller community service events, such as Adopt-a-Park, Pick It Up, and etc.

A general member can run for board positions when a new term election begins. Being a board member will further enhance the readiness of the student to become more independent and professional.

Parent

Parents are more than welcome to visit any of our community service events or general meetings. However, we want every student to be independent and work from self-motivation rather than under the supervision of parents. AYSC has many experienced senior advisors that will offer the utmost advice to each volunteer and guide them through struggles and challenges. We hope for the support from parents and let their child explore their interests and find their passion through volunteering.

Visitor

AYSC fundraises at every opportunity. We are always open to donations and supports. We thank every donor with our greatest appreciation and love. Not only do we need fundings for our monthly volunteering events, but also for our members' scholarships and other field trips. We need as much support as possible because we are still just a non-profit youth community service organization.
